The Mental Maths Test was particularly popular as it involved children listening to a CD recording of the questions while completing their answer booklet. The fiction booklet is based on an extract from John Falkner's 'Moonfleet'. The non-fiction booklet is all about endangered species, and the poetry booklet is an extract from Tennyson's Crimean classic 'Charge of the Light Brigade'.
