Description

This box has a lot of leftovers (sort of) from the Leviathan box, but if you want a Norn Emissary and a Winged Hive Tyrant, this will probably save you a bunch of money. Coded LE1, the humble “Space Orc” was actually the first-ever model for the budding Warhammer 40,000 universe, beating the LE2 Space Marine to the punch. With the third edition of Warhammer 40,000, Orks’ propensity for close combat really blossomed – they gained a point of WS and lost a point of BS – and the now-classic slugga and choppa combo became their bread and butter. Codex Chaos Space Marines turned up just as June turned into July, and Chaos Daemons straddled August and September. We were introduced to these preposterous contraptions during last week’s massive Octarius Mission Briefin g preview. Effectively Wurrboy pulpits bristling with heavy weaponry and able to transport a mob of ornery boyz, Rig s pulled by gigantic, slavering Tramplasquigs are the Beast Snaggas’ preferred runaround – even though there are clearly bits falling off all the time. You can also prepare for the new year with a 2024 Calendar filled with incredible artwork, that comes with an extra poster featuring art from the cover of Codex: Leagues of Votann . As well as new sculpts of the Chaos Space Marine PossessedandChaos Cultists, there were threebrand new, gruesomely mutated kits: the ‘Accursed Cultist Mutants’ and ‘Accursed Cultist Torments’. Meanwhile, there was confirmation of long-standing rumors that the World Eaters traitor legion would have their own codex, and brand new models. And last, but not least, the Orkz will also stomp their way into the lineup of Christmas boxes. This year, the theme of Beast Snaggas continue – hence the name of the Battleforce – with Mozrog Skragbad leading his best Boyz into battle. As snow begins to fall and friends gather to exchange gifts, who better to loot an enticing bounty of presents than the Beast Snaggas? These green-hued big game hunters are ready to scrap, led by legendary everything-killer Mozrog Skragbad – who can be built as a standard Beastboss on Squigosaur, if you prefer – at the head of three Squighog Boyz and a Nob on Smasha Squig. They’re joined by a Painboss medic and a mob of 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, who mount up in a psyker-strapped Kill Rig – which can alternatively be built as a Hunta Rig and a psychic Wurrboy on foot – to keep up with the cavalry for a jolly old winter punch-up. Cadian Defence Force Show the special hobbyist in your life an appropriately Warhammer holiday with Christmas cards, wrapping paper, and tree decorations – which even come with pin badges of their own!

The 9th Edition Space Marines codexwas released on October 10, 2020, so it’s available now. There is also a special Collector’s Edition available, if you fancy it. Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server , and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! The Beast Snaggas bring a whole new spin on Orkish industrial design, embracing the traditional scrap-and-gumption aesthetic , only with huge squigs to provide all the power. The result is the Kill Rig, a behemoth that’s all parts fast, deadly, and noisy – everything Orks hold most dear. Sagitaurs have been hard to get, Land Fortresses are great, and Hearthguard is probably the best unit in the army, so this is a fantastic box!

Beast Snagga Army Box

You also get a Nob on a Smasha Squig, ready to charge through enemy lines and devour anyone who gets in their way. Beast Snagga Boyz can run in units between 10 and 20 strong, which means they play a slightly more specialised role than ordinary Boyz. These fighters may mob together in smaller numbers, but they make up for it in brute hitting power. And there’s a lot of units to choose from. Alongside the faction’s codex, GW also released the long-teased Paragon Warsuits, Celestian Sacresants (as shown on the codex’s front cover), and Dogmata, as well as faction-specific Battle dice and datacards. This Battleforce is a great foundation for a Leagues of Votann army, as it’s exactly 750 points of great units. If you pair the Defenders of the Ancestors up with a Combat Patrol box, you almost have an army that could take on anything! If you build out from there, you can have a 2000 point of height challenged individuals in no time! Tyranids – Onslaught Swarm At the heart of every great Waaagh! are the Boyz. Beast Snaggas are some of the strongest and toughest Orks around, and you get a whopping 20 of them in the box. Read more about the new Beast Snagga Boyz here.

You’ve seen a few of the Squighog Boyz already, but there’s a whole mob of models in this box that are seeing the light of day for the first time. The box is absolutely stuffed with Orks and ravenous squigs – not only do you get 26 new Ork miniatures, the set comes with an exclusive version of the new Ork codex with bespoke Beast Snagga artwork, a set of Ork datacards, and a transfer sheet. We know that the troops for the Astra Militarum is fairly cheap – after all, there are billions of men and women in the Imperial Guard. Thanks to the tanks, the total Points value of this box comes out to 705 points, which should provide a solid foundation for a Militarum army. Or a great addition if you’re trying to round your 2000 Points list out! Space Marines – Spearhead ForceDue to them spending most of their lives hunting the largest beasts they can find, they are hulking mountains of muscle, even by Ork standards. [2] While not as durable as a Nob, they can hit just as hard. [3] Their favored weapon are harpoon-weapons dubbed "Stikkas", which is used to immobilize prey for the final blow. [7] So what do you get inside and how much would it cost you normally? All of the points have been given for the basic unit options and include no upgrades, but you can make changes with the way some models are built. Leagues of Votann – Defenders of the Ancestors Warhammer Community / Games Workshop Unit Let’s not kid ourselves, though. As amazing as all of those models are, there’s one reason that stands out above all the others as to why this box is so awesome. It’s this little guy. Plus, with Kill Team on the way, you’ll soon be able to give him a little buddy. Another recent addition to the grim darkness of the 41 st millennium, the Leagues of Votann get another box set! Thankfully, this one is better than the Boarding Patrol the space dwarves got with some nice units. Two vehicles, two squads of the best unit in the Index, and two characters to round it off. Games Workshop also thought about the meta, as the Grimnyr can’t join any unit as a leader, but that just leaves him as a scoring unit as many high ranked LoV players have used them!

The 9th Edition DeathwatchCodex Supplement was released, along with the Space Wolves, onOctober 31, 2020. The Seraphon have recently been blessed with a wide range of brand new miniatures, and you can get your hands on a whole army with the Primordial Starhost. An ancient Slann Starmaster watches over the ferocious charge of three Aggradon Lancers, while three mighty Kroxigor and 10 savage Saurus Warriors set upon enemies herded into place by three snapping Terrawings and the cunning Hunters of Huanchi.** Praetorian Spearhead Also making T’au enthusiasts happyis this book’s success in making a far wider variety of potential T’au battle-plans and list-building options competitively viable after a long period wheremost lists were dominated by triple Riptidebattlesuits, Coldstar T’au Commanders, hordes of Drones, and not much else. Old favorites like Crisis Battlesuit squads, Devilfish transports, and Hammerhead gunships have been rejuvenated, and T’au-heads are loving it.From our friends at Koyo, two phenomenal advent calendars and new Mystery Pin collections arrive for Christmas. Whether you’re a fan of Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or both, there’s something for you. This puts the Exalted of the Red Angel Battleforce to 815 points, which is incredible value for any player looking to start their path to the Skull Throne. With the box including the Red Angel himself, it’s great if you want to get a centrepiece model for your World Eater if – for some reason – you didn’t have Angron already! Leagues of Votann – Defenders of the Ancestors Ride down your foes and reap a bountiful tithe of bone with the Praetorian Spearhead, commanded by Arch-Kavalos Zandtos and his bodyguard of five Kavalos Deathriders. Four elite Morghast constructs swoop from the skies, while a Gothizzar Harvester reanimates the fallen and reinforces the 20 Mortek Guard who march unrelentingly across the battlefield.**
