Professor X informs Magneto that his telepathic powers will no longer be enough to hold back Wanda's reality-warping abilities and that a permanent solution must be found. Brian is currently helming a renaissance for Marvel’s popular AVENGERS franchise by writing every issue of the NEW AVENGERS plus debuting the hit books MIGHTY AVENGERS and DARK AVENGERS along with the wildly successful ‘event’ projects HOUSE OF M, SECRET WAR, SECRET INVASION, and SIEGE. Back to more serious matters: it looks like Magneto can still hurt his children worse that he already has which sucks sweaty donkey balls because he had all these heartfelt retrospection in Claremont's Excalibur III where he wants to be a better father and all that.It continues with the events which were started in the "Disassembled" stories, that is to stay, House of M deals mainly with the fallout of Scarlett Witch's emotional/mental breakdown that ended with the deaths of several Avengers. Primarily, he wanted the entire world to acknowledge that his paranoid fantasies about baseline humans wanting to exterminate mutants were true (hence the Sentinel attack over New York in 1979, which concluded with the release of evidence that the world's human leaders were involved in a genocidal anti-mutant conspiracy).
