Round Ten

(Andrea solo Judge & Review this round)

Damaged by Dragonchic

Best Video, Best Editing, Best Narrative, Best Relationship, Music Use RU

An awesome dark study of Peter and Claire's relationship (it works both shippy and 'non shippy' so that's also very cool )the damage & pain they feel (Claire may heal physically but there are other scars) but a connection grows between them through the visions/paintings and then they are there for each other. You have some great parallels between the characters - the running

Great pacing to this and you use the music beautifully - the piano notes as the clock ticks and as Claire falls back. I love the abrupt cuts too at 1.35 & 1.54 very effective. Along with such great use of overlays, zooms and reverse footage it really reveals a subtle but skilled hand. Excellent vid.

Does Cameron Dream of Electric Sheep. - Kiki_Miserychic

Best Video, Best  Character, Best Music Use, Editing RU, Action RU

You continue to amaze me with very distinctive pieces, squeezing every ounce out of the music and this is no exception. Great choice of song with a slightly uneven feel to the tempo matched with the rather disjointed yet superbly edited clips. It just makes me love the whole mechanical feel and it's all a little unnatural & jerky just like Cameron and the other Terminators.

Excellent use of effects and time toggle giving it that sense of the world around her being absorbed and analyzed as data at superhuman speed. Interesting use of the slower passage of music at the end and that exquisite Ballet scene. Another Excellent  vid.

Take Me to The Hospital - Thandie

Best Video RU, Best Effects, Best Action, Editing HM

Excellent use of effects and overlays to create a real creepy mood to your vid. It is good to see overlays and colour used so effectively without that feel of information 'overload' that can occur.

You always use the internal motion in your clips well and it is evident in this vid too, without it becoming too repetitive by hitting every single beat. I especially liked the blood spray at around 1.49 and the flash image of the ghost at 2.01. Altogether an action packed violencefest SPN style. Makes you wonder how Dean and Sam made it through to season Four!.

 Run by Brighette

Judges Choice , Best Drama, Best Narrative RU

A highly charged, emotional vid that uses the music and poignant lyric matches to great effect .Simple cross fades add to the mood rather than distracting. You've successfully summed up the mood of show and the relationship between Dean and Sam. Lovely vid.

Patchwork by Artanis

Judges Choice, Best Overview, Ensemble RU

Interesting vid based all around the parallels in the slayerverse. Cleverly constructed it envelopes you in a huge wave of nostalgia for the shows still sorely missed (by me...) I particularly enjoyed the hand montage, Spike and jewelry & rings and the neat ending with the final wave from Buffy.  A real treat of a trip down memory lane, thank you.
